I’m always looking for new blogs to inspire my scrapbooking… and I came across this new one this morning. I think it will be a very touching & perhaps a healing site for many. It’s called http://www.goodgriefblog.com/ & Amanda Probst created it. I’ve lost many people close to me, & I definitely want to try to get all those memories down, even though it can be tough. The challenge that’s up right now until Aug. 25th is to use lyrics. I chose “Sissy’s Song” by Alan Jackson. The chorus is so beautiful, & I think of my Grandma when I hear it. I lost her when I was 13, and these lyrics remind me that she’s my angel & she’s free at last.
