Today is 9/11… a very important day for us in the U.S. It’s so important to never forget what this day meant 9 years ago.

I was in my first year of college, and I remember everyone talking about what had happened in New York. Classes were dismissed by noon, and everyone was scrambling to get home to be with their families. The buses were more full than I had ever seen. Most businesses closed down early that day, and people were glued to their TV’s. This was a day I’ll never forget. It’s important to move forward, but we should never forget that this day did bring Americans closer to each other. Let’s take today to make an extra effort to be kind to everyone we see.
