Hello everyone!! I just wanted to stop by and share my album I made for Elizabeth Kartchner’s online class, Unlock Your Story. I really, really enjoyed her class and I learned a few new techniques as well 🙂
I improvised a little because I just used the supplies I had on hand. I used a Maya Road album, which had a combo of canvas and chipboard pages. I also added an acrylic tag page. Of course, I also used lots of Dear Lizzy supplies too! I loved learning how to make the rolled flowers, and I tried pleating for the first (successful) time! I used lots of glimmer mist through the album as well.
The story I told through my album was just a retrospective of this year; it’s been challenging and wonderful at the same time. I included pics of my family, our home & neighborhood and of course my 3 little beautiful birdies too!

oh my gosh, I just took a look at your book from Lizzie's class — I took the same class and, dang it, I went right as she told us — I didn't personalize at all. I love yours — I want a do-over!!!

I love the personal touches. I really didn't do enough of my own, but I knew I wouldn't. I'm new to scrapbooking so I wanted to just follow the leader for the first time. Great job!! I loved her class.
