I am sharing some more garden photos today, because I can’t get enough! The colors are really popping up now. The azaleas are starting to grow. We had snow last week, but it’s going to be 80 degrees this week, so I hope the heat inspires them to open up more.
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is winged Cupid painted blind. -William Shakespeare
Today is Valentine’s Day! I’ve always enjoyed the holiday, because who doesn’t like red & pink, flowers, and candy?! I have always been drawn to a romantic style of decorating as well, which goes hand in hand with Valentine’s Day.
Today I wanted to share a little taste of Valentine’s Day decor around here. I love the reds & pinks this time of year. It’s really the last holiday with bold colors until fall comes back around. And, I can never get enough of hearts! 💞My little prince, Maxx. And my Valentine princess, Athena. She just loves dressing up!Looks good enough to eat (but don’t because it’s not real!!).Bold pink baubles! Thanks for stopping by today!
We’ve had a tradition the past decade or so to always have an amaryllis flower in the house at the holidays. Well, this past holiday season, we got our flower at bit late (at Target no less!), and it bloomed this past week. It’s a gorgeous pure white, with few ruffles along the edges.
It’s amazing to watch an amaryllis come to life. It literally grows and moves in front of you. Pure beauty to enjoy in the often harsh winter months.
