December Daily 2015

Hello!! Happy December! Of all the months, this one rolls by the fastest, don’t you think?

On Thanksgiving, I spent a couple wonderful hours putting together my December Daily album. I bought the Kelly Purkey mini December Daily kit back in September, so I knew I wanted to use that (and some of her holiday stamps too!) on my pages. But what album should I use? I debated whether or not I should use a 6X12 or a 9X12, or just make a 4X6 handmade version. But, in the end, I used one of my WRMK mini albums with 4X4 pages. I found the darling reindeer at Hallmark in their gift wrap department (a set of 4). I placed the black deer on the cover with the year and some washi tape as well. I think the cover looks a lot more traditional than the pages inside, but I’m ok with it now. It’s like when you open it up, it’s a fun Christmas surprise!  🙂 I love how easily it came together. So now all I have to do is place a couple pictures in each sleeve, and it’s done! I’ve never really put together my whole DD album beforehand, but I think by using the kit, it was easier to have it ready.

So, as I mentioned, I just need photos. I don’t take photos every day, I seem to take them every few days in 100+ increments. I have an idea of the photos I want to include, like the tree, photo sessions, details, etc.

So, I hope you enjoy looking at my foundation pages! If you are making an album as well, feel free to share a link!

Thanks for stopping by!
