Hello! Happy Monday!
If it’s a new week, I have a new planner love, lol. Recently, I wanted a cover for my everyday Happy Planner. I have the big, bulky deluxe cover. While I love that, it’s too much to carry around. I also have a set of snap-in covers, but they are not quite the look I had in mind.
So, I remembered seeing a video on YouTube where the Composition Notebooks from Webster’s Pages fit the Classic size Happy Planner perfectly. Well, of course, I have one of those! I bought the white cover last spring, and while I love notebooks, I could never seem to make that system work. So, I brushed off my cover, and slipped my Happy Planner in! Love!!
So, here’s how I ended up with two Composition covers… I love the white one, so I’m using it for my creative/social HP, and the gorgeous pink/white one with the gold heart is for my Glam Girl HP. Basically, I split up my Frankenplanner in two to create these two binders. Now, here’s the only downside… you can only use mini discs in order for the cover to shut. If you don’t need the cover to close, go ahead and use those expander discs, lol! I can’t find the mini rose gold metal discs in stores, so I improvised and used pink mini discs from an old Mini HP, with a couple spare mini black discs I had. It works for now. And, it explains why my photos from Saturday’s Weekly Spreads post all had different discs!!
Here’s a look at my Glam Girl planner, with Planner Society beauty decorating the pockets. Did I mention there are tons of pockets in these notebook covers?!
Pure gorgeousness!!!
This is what the front pockets looked like when I first tried out this setup in the white cover version I already had on hand.
Sweet stack.
And, here’s what the front looks like in my creative HP, complete with a custom cover, amde from a notebook purchased from TJ Maxx. I just unstitched the cover from the notebook and created a HP cover. Did I mention I’m obsessed with giraffes as well?? Happy 1st birthday, by the way, to Taj!
I hope you enjoyed this look inside my Composition Notebooks with my Happy Planners inside. I hope all this moving around didn’t confuse you!
Thanks for stopping by today!
