The Return of the Recollections Planner…

Hello! I wanted to share part of my daily planning routine with you today. I use my Happy Planner all the time, of course, but I also love using the Hourly Recollections Spiral Planner every night. The Erin Condren hourly planner first caught my attention last spring, and then Michaels came out with their own version last summer- so I had to try it!

I used it regularly from July-October, then I took a break for November & December. I started to miss it early this year, so I picked it up again, personalized it a bit more, and I am still hooked in May!Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates Blog

Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates BlogMy cover is from Erin Condren, but the guts of the planner is Recollections. It was the first way I customized this planner. I added this vellum sheet from The Planner Society to the inside front sheet. Instant personalization!Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates BlogI use this planner as a way to see how I spent my day, to track habits, work, dinners, weather, and more. I don’t decorate a lot… just stickers or washi here & there. I also use the hours literally- I’ve seen a lot of planners who use the hourly like a vertical and they just ignore the hours… but I actually like seeing the hours & how I spent them!

A peek at how I use it…Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates Blog

Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates BlogI also added a little section in the back for my yearly tracking- doctor appointments, haircuts, etc. and a budget section.Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates BlogI don’t really care for most of the dividers (one of the only bad things about these Michaels planners), so I have covered up most of them with pretty papers and embellishments from my Planner Society kits.IMG_4316

Recollection Hourly Planner Update | JM Creates BlogI think I will definitely be picking up another hourly planner for next year. Do you like tracking your day hourly?

Thanks for stopping by!
